Cool Square is a cool hangout spot in Georgetown, Guyana. The service always comes with a smile and the people make you feel like you are family. The atmosphere is breezy (cool), always clean and safe. The food makes you come back again and the music makes you want to sing (or dance).
You can get daily lunch and dinner (the menu varies). The metemgee with fried fish at Cool Square is the best in Guyana. Fried foods are available at any time of the day. White and black pudding is available on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays it is soup day at Cool Square. Their souse at is another Guyanese favourite.
Cool Square has been in operations for over 20 years and features karaoke on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Karaoke starts around 8:30PM and goes until (sometimes) 4AM. In addition to liming and dining, Cool Square also operates a Guest House.
Hanging out at Cool Square on a weekend afternoon with a cold Guinness, fry-fish with plantain chips and jamming to the sweet karaoke is the perfect combination to end the week.
