A JOURNEY ROOTED IN EDUCATION AND AMBITION
Born and raised in Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara (EBD), Dibbi attended St. Mary’s Primary and Covent Garden Secondary Schools.
A middle child with one brother and sister, she pursued higher education at the Nations School of Business Studies.
I am a vlogger and wife and hold two Diplomas and two Associate Degrees in Business, HRM, and Pre-law. I am currently pursuing an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
A MULTIFACETED ENTREPRENEUR
In 2019, this full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, seizing a spontaneous opportunity to showcase her skills.
Within three days, she crafted promotional materials and launched her catering venture, Dulce Delights Guyana, which she later registered.
Despite the challenges faced in 2020 and a period of unemployment, I leveraged social media marketing to significantly grow my business during the pandemic.
Specialising in finger foods and novelty cakes, she noted that she takes pride in creating edible works of art inspired by real-life items, aiming to consistently “wow” her customers with both the product and customer service.
Even after returning to full-time employment, Dibbi, who is the founder of Global Alliance – a job advertising platform – continued to operate Dulce Delights part-time, fuelled by her unwavering passion for human resources and creativity.
BALANCING ACT: JUGGLING WORK, BUSINESS, AND FAMILY
As a small business entrepreneur, her primary challenges revolved around juggling a rapidly growing business, a full-time job, and family commitments.
Balancing these responsibilities proved demanding, exacerbated by transportation limitations that hindered my ability to be present in multiple locations simultaneously.
However, the businesswoman remains grateful for the unwavering support of her family. She noted that they play a crucial role in assisting her during peak seasons, handling deliveries, and ensuring the continuity of excellent customer service.

For Dibbi, every creation at Dulce Delights Guyana is a reflection of her passion for perfection. She noted that she strives to provide customers with the same level of product and service excellence that she would expect as a consumer.
Her ultimate goal is to establish Dulce Delights Guyana as a distinctive bakery known for its creativity and precision in the rapidly growing Guyana market.
