Telecommunications giant the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Co Ltd (GTT) launched its new brand campaign “Together We Rise” on Monday. During a virtual press conference, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Justin Nedd, stated that the new brand campaign was in no way a corporate message, but rather;
“…a celebration of who we are and what we can achieve together, and it is an affirmation of how far we have come; and the new horizons that we now envision collectively”.
With this launch, he said that GTT is reaffirming its commitment to uplifting the Guyanese people through its services. According to the CEO, GTT has acknowledged the progress it has made in the past and in recommitting itself to keeping Guyana world-class in telecommunications services.
“I can report to you that GTT is also rising. Our company is working to continue the development of Guyana’s telecoms infrastructure, working to grow our market share and working to continuously enhance our product and service delivery to our customer.”
GTT believes that the new campaign launch is essential for the future success of Guyana. Nedd noted that Guyana was a diverse melting pot of people from various ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds coming together as one. As the leading telecoms service provider, he boasted that GTT was arguably the single most unifying company in the country.
“We have served generations; we too are Guyanese – and our professionals are a strong representation of the people of Guyana. While we are focused on providing a world-class telecommunications infrastructure for the benefit of all Guyanese, our mission also encompasses bringing Guyanese together – here and within the Diaspora – and being a force for building bridges and unity amongst our populace.”
He reminded us that unity and togetherness were great contributors to business stability and our everyday lives, and we could not overstate the importance of a stable Guyana. In that regard, he said that GTT believed that with a renewed focus on unity and stability, Guyana is rising.
“Despite the pandemic, we have good reason to look forward to a bright future, with an increasingly better job and business opportunities arising from inward investment and innovation across sectors of the economy – because challenges present opportunities – and we are a resilient people,” the CEO noted.
